Meadow Quest

This game was originally developed for a school project with a group of 2nd year Creative Media and Game Technology students. The client is a botanical garden which wanted to get children more involved in nature. Originally, the project was only supposed to function at the botanical garden. By scanning the area, flowers would be rendered in the game where they would be in real time using Niantic Lightship. This makes it so the flowers could also be seen in the winter. Linked to this AR are simple levels that kids could complete. Scanning for rendering and accurate map data are removed for this prototype, which is now only functional as a showcase prototype.

This game won an award for best technology during the student festival 2024.
